This area of study focuses on the subjugation of enemy forces with physical prowess and the protection of others by way of strong shield arms and sharp minds. Those who choose to study DATC know that part of their role as an adventurer is to be on the thick of battle, going in first to face new dangers, either to put themselves in harm's way to protect others, or to swiftly end combat before harm can even be brought upon themselves with decisive stunning blows of weapon mastery. But fools they are not for they also know the value of camaraderie and of trusting their allies with their lives and to make up for their own inadequacies.

Example of activities: combat drills, battle positioning variations, practical lessons in the combat area, tactical combat exercises, monster slaying quests, weapon and armor crafting and maintenance

This area of study focuses on the encyclopedic learning necessary for adventuring to be successful, which involves but is not limited to aether manipulation and spellcasting. Those who choose to focus on SAS are looking for a more knowledge-focused path, where their intelligence and cunning may set them apart among their peers. Where do they work out? In the library. The sharpest of minds remains calm and collected as ice no matter the pressure, and this cold, rational, calculating method of learning is the focus of this discipline.

Example of activities: research in tomes and books, magical experiments, learning spells and magic powers, conducting magic rituals, investigating magical mishaps and magic-related mysteries, puzzle solving

This area of study is for those who believe that not all who wander are lost, for those who understand that adventuring is not only about casting spells or slaying beasts but, well, adventuring. Those who study FSWS are focuses on providing everything an expedition requires to be successful, that is, they have the lived-in knowledge necessary to go into danger and return safely carrying wealth and stories to share. These students tend to be collected and fair, often serving as leaders for their parties or moderators when conflict arises, for they do most of their work when planning and preparing for quests before they even begin.

Example of activities: navigation and exploration exercises, trap-finding and disarming, dungeoneering safety and dungeon exploration, befriending and peacefully handling magical beasts, handling natural dangers, healing illnesses, wounds and other afflictions often related to adventuring
